We remind all companies that the deadline for submitting reports on special waste streams for the calendar year 2023 is April 1, 2024.

The Environmental Protection Agency publishes a list of obligated entities that are required to pay the product fee for items that become part of special waste streams after use, based on data provided by the Customs Administration.

These obligated entities have imported products that, after use, fall under special waste stream categories, including:

  1. Manufacturers and importers of tires, or vehicles containing tires;

  2. Manufacturers and importers of products containing asbestos;

  3. Manufacturers and importers of batteries and accumulators, or products containing them;

  4. Manufacturers and importers of fresh mineral or synthetic oils and lubricants;

  5. Manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic products, placed on the Serbian market or used as end-users;

  6. Manufacturers and importers of vehicles, placed on the Serbian market or used as end-users.

A list of entities that have not submitted the required report to the Environmental Protection Agency can be found at the following link:

PTP2 – Not Submitted: sepa.gov.rs

(Note: As of the time of writing, the published list includes only those entities that failed to submit reports for 2022. Updated data for 2023 has not yet been published.)

How to Submit the Report

Obligated entities must submit the annual report to the Agency by:

  • Entering data directly into the National Register of Pollution Sources (SEPA information system), and

  • Printing Form 2 from the system and submitting it in paper format.
